Bubble wrap fun

This week at Tutorial Time on Speedy TV we are learning a technique using Bubble wrap. I had many issues with this but ended up with a card. First I didn't have any Acrylic paint so.... I grabbed my Ranger paint Dabbers, dried up....OK don't give up. I found 3 bottles of Dimensional Pearls and I had white in Liquid Pearls. Not really matching colors or colors I would have chosen to work with but they were what I had. Painted them on my card stock and waited for that to dry. Then got my brayer. Could not make it work. Bubble wrap too thick, pearls slippery and the biggest factor I HATE BRAYERS!. So I ended up with a smeary mess. Grabbed another piece of Bubble wrap and dabbed it in the mess. Here is my card.

Didn't give up. Tried again this time using a smaller piece of bubble wrap in the brayer. Still slipping and sliding but it rolled a little. Here my card. Go on over and Hilight Tutorial Time and click on #23. Add your card for a chance to win a great stamp set.

Talk about perseverance! The first thing I thought when your blog popped up was "oooooooooooh how PRETTY!" I like the outcome. Don'tcha love it when things work out differently than expected, but they are still oh-so-pretty? Your card look beautiful, Pat. Thanks for sharing all the tips.
