Tic Tac Toe # 18

Today I'm playing off with a new challenge to me.

I used Stencil, Blue & Green,Texture.

I used the dot stencil and paste for the texture. First time I've used paste with a plastic stencil.
Then sponged with Blue & Green ink. The paste resists the ink.
Added 2 Sea horses and sequins bubbles.
I can hardly wait for the next challenge. Tic Tac Toe gives you so many ways to create a card.

Fall is starting and I love making fall paper and coloring leaves. We really don't get fall leaves here in Florida. There are a few trees that change leaf color in January and February but its few.
I've made both papers with sponged ink and stamping images of leaves.
My embellishments are 2 small punched leaves.

Sparkles Christmas Challenge #67

I'm joining the Design Team at Sparkles Christmas Challenge. It is a monthly Christmas Card with a theme challenge. What a fun way to get started on those Holiday Cards. This month there is a Surprise prize package donated by Marianne Design if you are chosen as the winner. Just make a Shaped Christmas Card and go on over and join in the fun.

Here is my card. I've made a round card using  dies. I just purchased this snowman stamp the other day at Hobby Lobby.  I think I would ink it a dark blue color rather than the black the next time I use it. I've outlined it and added some sparkle with a glitter pen. That doesn't show well in the photo. Behind the snowman I used a snowflake background stamp.

An adventurous day

Headed out this morning for Hontoon Island State Park. Rode the ferry over and began our walk. A little to warm for that today really but we made it to the end of the 3 mile trail and back to the ferry in one sweaty piece. We were looking for the Indian Mound. Not what we were expecting as we have seen mounds before but we got there and saw another Florida State Park. Lived here in Florida for 11 Years and haven't explored the parks so I'd say it's about time. So much beauty to see.

Her behavior chart is going to be a monkey with bananas. So my chimp is going to fit right in.

Ruby's Rainbow Challenge 133

This was an easy challenge for me this week. Make your own background. No problem. I've got a million of them. This card uses 3 of them. The back layer was made using a gelli plate and then stamped over with a script stamp. Then behind the oval is a piece using Webbing spray. And the oval is a Distressed ink splattered with water technique.
