Paper Craft Star challenge

This one had lots of requirements. But at Paper Craft Star they have the challenges listed way in advance of their starting giving me extra time to play. I've had this one done for a week.  You were to make a Thank you card with dry embossing, die cuts and metal. My background is made with metallic Encaustic wax. The picture really doesn't do the shine of the wax justice. It sparkles. The embossing part is a Spellbinder die that embosses and cuts out at the same time. Most of it is covered up so you can't see it but I will tell you this is a must have. It is very pretty. I used 2 metal ribbon slides I have had in my stash for like forever and have never used.

I've seen a few projects using the wax but have never done it myself. It sounds really interesting. :) Looks pretty cool too. I've got some of those slides in my stash too. You can't hardly find slides now. Thanks so much for joining us this week at Papercraft Star with your great card!
