We've had a couple of good birding evenings lately. Last night an adult Eagle and a young Eagle were eating fish out of our pond and tonight the Stork paid a visit. My husband is wondering who had the baby delivery.
What awesome pictures, Pat! Before my Mom passed away several years ago, she lived in Punta Gorda, FL and her house backed right up to a canal - and we would sit there and watch lots of birds - and gators going on about their business. When my Dad was still alive, he had to call the Game Warden to come and get a gator out from under their car - he had wandered up and out of the canal!
