Favorite Christmas Carol

The challenge this week at CraftyHazelnut's Christmas Challenge was to include music. I just received this stamp from MFP a HC. It is the music for Silent Night, one of my favorite Christmas Carols. I distressed the edges of the image after cutting it out. Then sponged with Linen and Walnut Distressed inks and added gold to the edges. I also sponged the designer paper. The Poinsettia is from Spellbinders. I sponged it with the same inks.

This next card uses 4 different stamp sets from MFP a HC. I tried a Technique Junkie Technique called Layered Masking from the Feb./Mar. 2012 issue.

2 more down. By the time the holidays come around I will have a good supply of cards made. Thanks Hazel.

I love both of these - the distressing on the Silent Night music is perfect and that layered masking on the second one is very effective - thanks for joining in my CHNC challenge 68 - hope to see you again soon - glad you're enjoying the challenges x
