January 2018 Sparkles Christms challenge

Well I hope everyone enjoyed the Holidays. I mailed out my Christmas Cards and put a real dent in my supply so today's card will start building up my supply for next Christmas. The theme is WHITE.

I have found it really helpful to make a few cards a month instead of trying to get them all done during the time we are preparing for the day. I hope you start your Christmas stash with us today.

 

December's Sparkles Christmas Challenge

Hope you got all your Christmas Cards made for the Season. This is our last challenge for the year. I wish you all a wonderful Christmas Season..

This months challenge theme is everyones favorite. "SNOWMEN".

I love snowman. My background is embossed with snowflakes. The snowman is colored with pencil.

The Lazy Days of Summer. I think we can all go for this theme. Just spending time enjoying the sunny warmth of the days. I used a corner die I just bought. Added an ink smooshed technique background behind it. Sponged some clouds and using my stamp positioning thingy added the stamp.

The theme this week is make a monochromatic card.  I found this piece with the shells on it and that was the starting point for me. 

I stamped some sand dollars on the background. I stamped a sand dollar on a light brown card stock and cut it out to add to the front. Go on over and add your card.

Make My Monday Challenge # 50

It's vacation time. I've been to So. Carolina, No. Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Ohio and Virginia this summer so far. We've had a great time. You doing any traveling?? This is the perfect theme for this weeks challenge. Go on over and add your card.

Loving the pineapple. It is a 3 layer stamp. First time using it. The small flower is stamped with Versa Mark.

Here is my husband and myself. My youngest daughter and her boyfriend up front and my youngest son in Appomattox, Va. The house in the background is where the truce between the North and the South was signed. We did a lot of History things.

In Ohio my oldest Grand daughter got married. Here she is with new husband and my 3 Great Grand daughters. 

July Sparkles Christmas Challenge

This months theme is Ornament. Your card needs to be an ornament or there has to be an ornament on the front. I was a little challenge by this but found this paper and then created an ornament for on the front. Go on over and add your card.

This weeks challenge is all about Bright Summer Colors. I've used red, orange and yellow. Nice warm colors like summers weather.

The theme this week is Beach. Who doesn't like to make a Beachy card or go to the beach so go on over and add your card. I found this great background in my stash. Stamped a few fish and the sentiment. Stamped a shell and sand dollar. Sponged color on them and added to the card front.

June Sparkles Christmas Challenge
