Rock Salt technique

This weeks Tutorial Time at Speedy TV technique is a rock salt technique. I didn't have rock salt. Not sure it's even sold in Florida. I remember using it up in Ohio to melt the ice on the sidewalks. I did have  Kosher salt so used that. It doesn't show well in the photo but it has a nice look. I used Glimmer Mist so it sparkles. Go on over. Click on #36 under Tutorial Time. Try out the technique and add your photo for a chance  to win a great stamp set.

Pat your card is beautiful, I love the butterfly and great job substituting! I found the rock salt at the grocery store in a small box to be used making ice cream.

Lovely card! What kind of inks did you use and what kind of paper--glossy or mat? I only have table salt.
