Speedy Fox and Friends Challenge 144

This week the challenge is to Doodle a frame. This is my fourth try. Doodling is not my thing I guess LOL. I just couldn't come up with anything I liked. I tried squggly lines and colored dots and this was the least offensive to me. I need lots of doodling practice for sure. The other ladies of the team have such nice doodles. Just don't know what my problem is. Over thinking it probably or maybe I'm just doodle challenged LOL. So go ahead and try your hand at it. I'm sure you will have less trouble with it than I had. Birthday Brads

I'm once again Playing with the Friday Mashup. Birthday card and using brads. Last week I was picked as a Mashup Glamette. That was nice to be recognized on my first try. The Ballons are brads and I cut a slit in the dogs mouth to put the strings so it appears he is holding them. See the circle. I told you they would be showing up. I'm afraid they may be showing up for the next month as I try to use them. Gives me a starting point though.

I am trying to get back to having some fun stamping so I am trying some new challenges. I missed last weeks challenge at the Cuttlebug Spot which was to use triangles. But this week is circles and I'm getting this in just intime but I have had a lot of fun with circles this week. I cut a bunch out and went to creating. You will be seeing them in the next few weeks. I should have been doing this challenge all along. I'm on my second Cuttlebug after wearing out the first one. So I will try and keep up now that I have started. Here is my card.

   I used the border stamp to make my background. I love this stamp. You will see or have already seen it quite a bit the last 2 weeks.  The rose is colored with Copics.

This Weeks Tutorial Time at Speedy TV

Today at Speedy TV I learned how to transfer a picture using packing tape. Living in the Boonies I don't know where I would have to go to get a Lasor copy so I went the magazine route which was not easy for me either. LOL. Don't buy magazines. Well I found an old West Virginia Travel guide that was on the book shelf.  Don't know why it was there but yeah!! so I found a picture and went to work. Soaked for the 15 minutes and then another 15 minutes and was about to give up when I found out you really have to rub hard to get the paper backing off. I did rip it trying to get the taped image off of my desk before I soaked it and you couldn't see it after the soaking process but it sure does show up on the card. Oh well. Let's just go with it looks distressed. Click on Tutorial #32 under Tutorial Time. Be sure to give it a try and enter your card. You could win a great stamp set.

I paper pieced the comfy chair. The window is a die cut. I stamped some trees and sponged a few clouds to put behind it. Added some wall paper and flooring along with the Grandfather clock to finish my room scene. Be sure to check out the blog hop. You could win a great stamp set.
