  This is my first time using Flocking. Not a fan. It will stay in the drawer for a long while before I look at it again. I used Bakers twine for wrapping.

This week was an interesting technique. We stamped on strips of paper and weaved them for the background. Check it out.  Click on challenges and then on Tutorial Time. Here's my card. The very back layer is one of the backgrounds made with stencils during week 2 ofSpeedy TV Basic Backgrounds. Almost all of the stenciling is covered up by the other layers but I though it was a nice touch for the background.

This week we learn how to make a Floating Spinner Card.  I had the perfect stamp set for this technique. Aliens and space ships floating through space.

Aren't they cute!! Here is the front of the card. I added glitter to the planets and space ship and a Gold Pearl Pen made all those little gold pearls. 

Here is the card opened a little. You can see how my little space ship is starting to spin.

I started out to make a baby announcement but when looking for a baby picture I came across this one of my husband and youngest son having a jam session a year ago when we visited Ohio. My background paper is actually an orange & green washi paper. I sponged it with purple to cover up the colors leaving the gold to match my embossing.
