Aug. 27-- Making Camo
With
the addition of Paper doll Chuck and his hunting outfit we needed to
come up with ways to color camo. His outfit is perfectly already
outlined for you. So many techniques could work well with this outfit.
The technique I'm showing you works great as a background as well as a great coloring for Chuck's hunting outfit.
Here's what you need:
What
I used is the backside of the smaller stamps found in the paper doll
sets. So that means the etched side of the stamp is facing your block
and you're inking the smooth side.
Start stamping starting with the lightest color.
Continue until you have it filled in and you are happy with it.
And there's your Camo background ready for a masculine card.
and check out Chuck's hunting outfit.
Let's get started !!
Here's the Design Team
Enjoy the Hop. Come back each day for more Paper Doll fun. We hope to inspire you to start your own paper doll fun projects. Get to work on the tutorial, show us what you made and check back on Sept.11,2015 to see if you are a winner.

Great tutorial, Pat.
Wow, your camo background looks great! Chuck's outfit is so fun! Gorgeous masculine card too!
Great idea Pat to use the back side of the stamp to create the camo. Love how they turned out on both projects!
What a great technique! TFS. We loved our trip and love being back.
